if there was a traitor theory who do you believe is the traitor?

I think the ones with the most evidence against them are Kaminari and Hagakure, which Hagakure being the most likely candidate.

The main characters–Bakugou, Todoroki, and Deku–are obviously not the traitor, and Iida and Uraraka also have other focuses already, with Iida having an arc and Uraraka having the set-up for one. The other students in 1A all get kind of a mini-arc or at least a moment of focus at some point, and Kaminari already kind of had one in the Licensing Exam Arc. Hagakure has absolutely no focus thus far and there’s a lot of circumstantial evidence against her, plus BNHA has the subtlety of a flamethrower so the fact that she’s invisible, named Toru, and yet is actually a traitor is… suspicious.

I’d personally rather it be Kaminari because I think the angst potentials are way higher, but Hagakure is the one I’m currently thinking is the traitor.

it kind of irritates me that people are doing an analysis on katsuki and deku since they watched the episode its already been established in the manga people use the anime as a source material way too much they once said that ochako and katsuki are foils now its izuku and katsuki its been established already that their foils I don’t mind people doing an analysis on katsuki and izuku just quit useing the anime as a source material.

I’m sorry it irritates you. I have said before that I most often prefer manga to anime insofar as mediums of storytelling go, but I also don’t think anime is any less valid a way to convey a story.

The BNHA anime in particular doesn’t really change a whole lot from the manga–the story and character arcs and their relationships are the same. Like, some mangas and animes are vastly different, but BNHA is very much the same story. Especially in instances like these where everything is pretty much the same, some people prefer anime as a way of experiencing a story, and some prefer manga. For example, one of my favorite “meta writers” is actually a YouTuber named Aleczandxr, and I know he’s said before he prefers anime (including the BNHA anime) over manga, and yet his video analyses are the same quality as written work.

If the anime gets more people discussing them as foils and creates more fans, I personally am all for it. Even if the anime and manga were different stories, it’s okay for people to enjoy discussing one more so than the other. Insofar as predicting where Horikoshi will take the manga, I agree the manga is probably a better source material. But otherwise, the more fans the better!

The Burnouts Ch 4- Hamliet – Hunter X Hunter [Archive of Our Own]

Hi, I‘m the one who asked for writing advice. Could you please outline the different types of character arcs that exist, and whether they can be mixed together? My central storyline is a romance, and I wanted to develop their growing feelings with hints of future plot development before it becomes more plot-driven. At first, I thought maybe my character writing was bad, because I could tell character B had was changing and had an arc while A doesn’t. now i think i might have been writing pt1

This is a big question,
so I hope my response does the ask some justice. I’ll do my best to cover as
much as I can, but if you have more questions, just let me know.

First, I want to make
sure we’re on the same page when we talk about “character arcs,” because I
think that term gets used a lot of different ways in different areas and I
don’t want to confuse anyone.

When I talk about character arcs what I mean, and I think
what you mean too, is the path a
character takes through the narrative
—from Point A all the way to Point Z
in their personal story, which
doesn’t necessarily have to line up with your main plot. Generally character
arcs correspond with major changes in a
character
(also known as character growth), but that isn’t always the case.

Probably the easiest way
to approach character arcs is to think about them visually. We call them “arcs”
because that’s how they tend to graph out:

(If you write a lot, you
probably recognize this same arc as the “narrative arc” most stories go
through—that’s because the path stories take and the paths characters take
are often identical.)

Since the Hiatus x Hiatus it’s about to stop next week what do you theorize or think would happen if Hisoka goes to Leorio to get fully or partially healed and someone finds out (it would probably be the mafia)? I need Leorio to come back and do something I’m thirsty for Leorio canon content :’c

Oooh, that’s a very interesting idea! I think Leorio should be involved more in this arc because of his ties with Kurapika–I’d like to see this arc test their freindship in the way that the CA Arc tested Killua and Gon’s. Leorio needs an arc dammit. Lol. Plus Hisoka getting healed would make me very happy lol.

OH that Noragami chapter. Soft Nora? AND Yukine and Nora growing closer? Yes please. BUT I realized something. YukiNora only works nicely, because both Father AND Yato aren’t there. Father will twist the relationship to his own ends, and we’ve seen Yato’s attitude to Yukine being with Nora. Yato trying to keep them apart used to be framed as good in a way – Nora was kinda dangerous. YukiNora’s current status turns that on its head, showing Yato had a role in stalling YukiNora’s positive growth.

Yup. It kinda gets to the trauma of abuse that Noragami covers–Yato is responding in fear becaue Nora has always been used by Father and he has no reason to believe otherwise, but at the same time, she’s also an abused child who needs sympathy and help. Yato’s actions aren’t really condemnable, and I can’t fault him, but it’s tragic all around in how it shows how far-reaching the affects of abuse are.

More Noragami thoughts. Nora talks very pointedly about how she’s always been “missing something”. She immediately follows up with talking about how she collected names. I can’t think of a bigger hint-drop that the live, human, Nora never had a name. She’s been shown to remember things that shinki aren’t supposed to remember, and she has abilities that are considered impossible/unnatural. Does she remember she was nameless? Is having been nameless as a human tied to her uniqueness as a shinki?

I think this is very plausible. Poor Nora. She really just wants to be wanted, and to be loved.
