He wants to hunt the PT, whom he knew would be going after Tserriednich’s treasure on the ship. Additionally, Machi says so, and Machi’s instincts have been proven to be correct most of the time.

Literally nothing this clown does surprises me anymore. *knocks on wood*
(it’s possible)
I hope so too. I do think anything relevant will be explored, which is why I realllly hope Chrollo lives to the last arc. But we’ll see. And I definitely think that either way we’ll get something on what happened between the Phantom Troupe and the Kurta clan, if there’s anything more to it.
Aw thanks! I have my bratty, leap to conclusions, etc. moments for sure, and I try to be honest about them and do better next time. That being said I really like answering asks! I don’t answer every single one (it depends a lot on my having time and my mental health) but I try to answer as many as I possibly can because it’s fun for me, lol.
Woble gets whatever she wants, whenever she wants.
I hope he slaps some sense into his friend. No but really I hope he breaks down and points out that Kurapika is hurting others by hurting himself, and reassures Kurapika that all his friends are with him and he doesn’t have to earn their love and friendship, because Kurapika needs to realize that he’s worth something.

Hello!!! Nice to meet you Anon. And thank you, this was super kind of you. I hope you have a great day too!
Pakunoda basically forced empathy on them, lol. They understood exactly what she was doing and why, and what she wanted. Because of that, yes, I do think they changed. Even Phinks and Feitan–the two most vocal members who fell on the side of erring towards following Chrollo’s ideology at the expense of himself–then spent their time finding a nen exorcist for Chrollo. I’m not saying they’re all like a little twisted family (they kinda are in some senses though) but that they clearly are more open to the idea of sticking by a person more so than an ideology. If Chrollo decides to get out of dodge, maybe they will actually consider following.
I am curious. Like, before Paku’s sacrifice, we know that Chrollo was on the side Feitan and Phinks and Shalnark were advocating: stick to Chrollo’s ideology. It doesn’t matter what happens to Chrollo as a person. He told Kurapika he did not care if he died, and Melody said he wasn’t lying.

But after Paku died to save him and his troupe dedicated themselves to searching for a nen exorcist to save him from loneliness of never being able to contact them again, I wonder. Chrollo does care for his Troupe, we know that, and instead of possibly welcoming a murderer of a friend, he wants to kill Hisoka for it (the irony is that Hisoka likely killed a member to join anyways, and Chrollo considered asking the chain bastard to join even after he killed Uvogin, according to Machi). I am thinking this arc will reverse that situation, and ask Chrollo to make the choice this time.
I think the PT’s supposed philanthropy is usually something that benefits them, but it also shows us that they are capable of good as well. Should Chrollo and a member or two survive this arc, I would like to see that explored if we ever get to Meteor City, which we probably will.
I’m hyped too! I love HxH; it’s my favorite ongoing manga.
Yeah, for Neon, it’s sad. I think she was likely killed either by Hisoka or because of the debts her father incurred after she lost her ability. 😦
I am curious about Nanika as well. I wonder if Leorio will uncover something on the Dark Continent that he will then bring back to Killua and Alluka that’s somehow related… or if Illumi will stay on the boat and discover the Ai since he seems to want that power…
Hey I am the same anon that just sent the ask! Seems there is a limited
words that can be typed to the ask box via mobile 😦 anyway, continuing
from the prev ask, what do you think of the whole ryuuseigai’s act of
retaliation thing? Like sending ppl in a suicide mission to avenge one
of them? And the willingness to do it considering they r stranger n no
manipulation nen involved that’s it.
Yes, I do think there’s quite possibly more to it. There’s also possibly not, but we’ll have to wait and see. I do think it’d be an interesting shake up for Kurapika’s sense of morality, so I’d like there to be more to it, but I feel like it could go either way. The message makes me think there might just have been more to it, though, as does the focus on revenge and its tragic cycle in Kurapika’s arc.
As for how they knew they were there… In “Kurapika’s Memories,” we know that Kurapika and Pairo went to a town wherein Kurapika revealed he had scarlet eyes when he punched men for mocking Pairo. It is entirely possible that the Phantom Troupe then heard about it from the townspeople.
