I am curious about Chrollo n the troupe past lol hoping it will get explored more but meh Togashi probably be like the past not important. If the troupe become woble’s bodyguards in this arc the other will probably be like wtf where did all these strong ppl come from? How did she get them to work for her? They are so menacing! How much should I pay for them to work for me? Lol btw you sure are kind! (Like you probably reply to all anon’s ask! Not many tumblr users do that for their followers)

I hope so too. I do think anything relevant will be explored, which is why I realllly hope Chrollo lives to the last arc. But we’ll see. And I definitely think that either way we’ll get something on what happened between the Phantom Troupe and the Kurta clan, if there’s anything more to it.

Aw thanks! I have my bratty, leap to conclusions, etc. moments for sure, and I try to be honest about them and do better next time. That being said I really like answering asks! I don’t answer every single one (it depends a lot on my having time and my mental health) but I try to answer as many as I possibly can because it’s fun for me, lol.

Do you think the spiders change after the whole paku giving them her memory thing? Like even phinks said paku wants to thank you guys to gon n killua and phinks n feitan didn’t even want to kill them!

Pakunoda basically forced empathy on them, lol. They understood exactly what she was doing and why, and what she wanted. Because of that, yes, I do think they changed. Even Phinks and Feitan–the two most vocal members who fell on the side of erring towards following Chrollo’s ideology at the expense of himself–then spent their time finding a nen exorcist for Chrollo. I’m not saying they’re all like a little twisted family (they kinda are in some senses though) but that they clearly are more open to the idea of sticking by a person more so than an ideology. If Chrollo decides to get out of dodge, maybe they will actually consider following.

Back in York Shin, how do you think Chrollo feel when Pakunoda came alone and accepted Kurapika’s conditions for both him and her? Also, what do you think of the troupe doing charity for the meteor city once in a while (considering phinks saying they don’t do charity in chimera arc) n them being the odd of meteor city?

I am curious. Like, before Paku’s sacrifice, we know that Chrollo was on the side Feitan and Phinks and Shalnark were advocating: stick to Chrollo’s ideology. It doesn’t matter what happens to Chrollo as a person. He told Kurapika he did not care if he died, and Melody said he wasn’t lying.

But after Paku died to save him and his troupe dedicated themselves to searching for a nen exorcist to save him from loneliness of never being able to contact them again, I wonder. Chrollo does care for his Troupe, we know that, and instead of possibly welcoming a murderer of a friend, he wants to kill Hisoka for it (the irony is that Hisoka likely killed a member to join anyways, and Chrollo considered asking the chain bastard to join even after he killed Uvogin, according to Machi). I am thinking this arc will reverse that situation, and ask Chrollo to make the choice this time.

I think the PT’s supposed philanthropy is usually something that benefits them, but it also shows us that they are capable of good as well. Should Chrollo and a member or two survive this arc, I would like to see that explored if we ever get to Meteor City, which we probably will.

All these theories n the current arc just make me all hype up about hxh (hunter x hunter not hiatus x hiatus guys lol) again!!! I wondered what happened to Neon (did kurapika even know that she is no longer alive?) Also Kurapika’s emperor time is sure pretty similar in a way to Kuroro’s bandit secret XD ‘ties are severed… not forgotten…’ those words sure are deep, aren’t they? Anyway, I also wondered how Nanika will play in this all since she has a tie with the dark continent.

I’m hyped too! I love HxH; it’s my favorite ongoing manga.

Yeah, for Neon, it’s sad. I think she was likely killed either by Hisoka or because of the debts her father incurred after she lost her ability. 😦

I am curious about Nanika as well. I wonder if Leorio will uncover something on the Dark Continent that he will then bring back to Killua and Alluka that’s somehow related… or if Illumi will stay on the boat and discover the Ai since he seems to want that power…

Do u think there was any other reasons beside taking the scarlet eyes when the ryodan massarced the kuruta? Like why did they even leave a written message of ryuuseigai motto ‘we accept everything, take nothing from us’ (they didn’t exactly leave a written message when they massarced the mafia for Uvo’s requiem, did they?) Kuruta clan live in obscurity anyway how did they find then in the first place?

Hey I am the same anon that just sent the ask! Seems there is a limited
words that can be typed to the ask box via mobile 😦 anyway, continuing
from the prev ask, what do you think of the whole ryuuseigai’s act of
retaliation thing? Like sending ppl in a suicide mission to avenge one
of them? And the willingness to do it considering they r stranger n no
manipulation nen involved that’s it.

Yes, I do think there’s quite possibly more to it. There’s also possibly not, but we’ll have to wait and see. I do think it’d be an interesting shake up for Kurapika’s sense of morality, so I’d like there to be more to it, but I feel like it could go either way. The message makes me think there might just have been more to it, though, as does the focus on revenge and its tragic cycle in Kurapika’s arc.

As for how they knew they were there… In “Kurapika’s Memories,” we know that Kurapika and Pairo went to a town wherein Kurapika revealed he had scarlet eyes when he punched men for mocking Pairo. It is entirely possible that the Phantom Troupe then heard about it from the townspeople.
