After reading some Anon asks about Urie’s sense of smell, I was reminded of something that has bugged me for a while. Saiko smelled human blood on Mutsuki and figured out what he’d been doing. Why didn’t Urie detect human blood on Mucchy? Considering that Urie can smell the difference between menstrual blood and blood from a wound. The only things I can think of are willful blindness for Urie OR Saiko’s nose being that much better.

Yeah, I think it was willful blindness from Urie! That’s always been my assumption, because in the scene where Saiko notices, Urie is too busy thinking about how nice Mutsuki looks in the coat. 

Could you point out the use of foreshadowing in bnha?

From the introduction of the quirk-destroying bullets, it was a pretty good bet they would be used on someone at some point, and as Mirio’s quirk got so much focus, it became increasingly obvious in the Overhaul Arc it would be him. You don’t introduce a plot device like that and not use it.

For the current situation… Hawks is pretty strongly modeled after a Icarus-like design, and we have jokes constantly referencing the myth, like about him rising too fast

getting burned 

and ominous panels like this one, in which Dabi starts out in darkness and walks towards the light and Hawks starts out in the light and walks towards the darkness. 

It doesn’t look good for Hawks is all I’ll say and I love him. 

There’s also pretty strong foreshadowing for both heroes attempting to save Shigaraki and a likely redemption, and for Dabi’s redemption as well (which the above panels tie into), but you can check out my tags for them if you want to know more!

(For the question about Urie) Sorry if i didn’t explain better. I meant how Urie could know the smell of menstruation. Because his father died and we don’t know nothing about his mother (and when he was at the academy i don’t think he has female friends or a girlfriend) so probably he shouldn’t know about the smell? Maybe i’m wrong, but it’s a little ambiguous

He probably just figured out that it wasn’t from an injury, Mutsuki was hugging him so he could feel their body, and could smell blood and probably knew where the blood was coming from on the body, and if it’s from that area without an injury, he could put two and two together.

No worries! I agree, I don’t think Gon deliberately seeks out that kind of violence or revenge (a la Hisoka). I think Killua pointed out during the invasion that Gon was kind of beyond reason in that arc (he’d been through wayyyyy too much at that point, none of which was his fault). Every person has their breaking point and I think that was his breaking point, like I think this arc is Kurapika’s.

Sorry if i’m talking about it after the last chapter, but i would know your opinion about how Urie could known about the smell of menstruation. I’m curious to know your opinion because i don’t know how explain it (sorry for my english)

No worries! Ghouls have heightened senses (for example, Saiko could smell in later chapters that Mutsuki was eating humans). The Quinx have some of those properties, and so Urie could smell blood and could tell it wasn’t from an injury.
