I’m in agony over them. Rereading them being so cute is painful. My heart is going to hurt forever because their deaths were, besides Hairu’s, I think the only ones that are purely ugly in the series, with not a shred of catharsis. We didn’t even get to see them die. Like Karren’s, Shirazu’s, Arima’s, Naki’s, all the fake deaths at the end of TG… they’re all quite cathartic and have moments of comfort and beauty in them, if that makes sense? Hairu’s did not at all, and neither did Shio’s or Rikai’s.
I don’t think it’s entirely impossible if Dragon shares his life force, but personally I think it’s one of the very least likely ones… alongside the Oggai, I’d say it’s as close to impossible as we can get. Since his head was severed from his body and he was presumably buried in rubble. It breaks my heart. I love Shio. Ishida why did you take both Iheis; give me Hairu back at the very least XD
