Thank you! I’m happy to answer SnK questions; I love that story too. And wow, what a chapter. The suspense building was great.
Willy is the worst:

Or is he? Everyone here was doing a great job of pointing out just what everyone was willing to sacrifice for their goals, and the hypocrisies thereof:

Ouch.
But there’s also this:

It appears like Eren is trying to give a Grim Reminder, sacrificing good people, becoming a monster for the sake of his cause like Armin encouraged him to do waaaaay back. But Eren seems to be self-aware of what he’s doing, and says that he understands Reiner. He does not hate Reiner. (Also, Reiner and Falco are not almost certainly not dead.)
It’s the same theme we’ve been seeing for awhile now in SnK that really
was reinforced with Bertolt dying in the same manner that Marco died:
screaming while his “friends” watched but did not intervene, because
they thought it was for the greater good. Now, Eren appears to be
becoming exactly the monster he always hated, apparently inflicting the
same damage.
It’s hard to speculate because I suspect Armin has a plan and I have many, many questions about what it is/why the shifters are all isolated, how Willy’s plan ties in with this, etc. The question is whether it’s a good plan, because death begets death begets death in SnK just like in TG.

I’m also intrigued by this. This seems to confirm Mystery Man is definitely from the 104th and she saw them at the battle of Shiganshina. But who? Armin? Jean? Connie? Flocke?
These are my incoherent reactions. I just read the chapter like an hour ago. I’ll have to process this more, but man. Wow.
