  • Character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Lizzie Midford. I didn’t dislike her, but I was never expecting her to be as awesome as she is. 
  • Character everyone loves but I don’t: Bravat. 
  • Character I love but everyone else hates: ummmm I don’t know!  
  • Character I used to love but don’t any longer: Undertaker is the closest… I was never a huge fan but now he is really, really trying my patience. DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE ALREADY FOR THE LOVE YOU CORPSE. 
  • Character I would kiss: I’d kiss Sebastian can’t lie. And then run screaming. But he likes cats and he’s hot. 
  • Character I want to slap: Undertaker. 
  • A pairing I love: Ciel x Lizzie! 
  • A pairing I hate: do people ship Sebastian and Ciel? I would… not like that ship. 

Hunter x Hunter

I was so hoping someone would ask me this.

  • Character I first fell in love with: Killua Zoldyck and Hisoka! I think I loved them both from their first appearances. 
  • Character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Meruem. Also Kurapika. 
  • Character everyone loves but I don’t: I guess Leorio? I do like him a lot I just don’t… care a whole lot because no arc 😦 
  • Character I love but everyone else hates: Illumi Zoldyck? Do people hate him? They can fight me. I will die protecting my son. 
  • Character I used to love but don’t any longer: Netero? I don’t hate him and find him a good character but I don’t… like him after the nuke. 
  • Character I would kiss: Chrollo Lucilfer. He’s perfection in the male form. 
  • Character I want to slap: Ging, Kikyo, Silva. 
  • A pairing I love: HISOILLU also Kurokura! 
  • A pairing I hate: Hisogon or Illumi/Killua. Very much… nope. 

Who are your fav characters from Monster so far? And what do you think of Tenma and Dieter’s relationship? Those 2 are downright adorable.

Tenma and Nina are my faves!! I love Tenma and he deserves none of this. Lol. To quote @aspoonofsugar he’s the rare pure character who also has major flaws and faces consequences for those flaws (thinking he’s an arbitrator of justice)–and consequences are both good and bad! Dieter, for example, and their relationship is a good consequence and it warms my heart. If anything ever happens to him I will die. 

Nina is a really well done female character, and I find that refreshing. 

Even though TG ended with many things left to be desired, I’m really hoping Ishida makes another series (once he gets his well deserved break). I can see him making characters like Rize, Saiko, Furuta Hajime, Shuu Mutsuki, Uta, Eto, and all those that were pushed to the side and giving them the spotlight in the new series. It’s sad that it couldn’t be the original TG characters but it would be justice to them in a different way.
