Due to the continuous rain these days, I had to postpone my artworks posting several times due to taking off the modem from going on (turn off), even my own PC. It’s because the raining always come with lighting and thunder, that my workplace has its own switch shuts down due to the yesterday’s raining. When the rain starts, its better everything sensitive to the weathers being shut down.

Day 27: “Thunder”

This scene is inspired by @hamliet-san’s story –”The (Mis)Adventure of Goat”. Originally it should be other characters from other fandom, but I tried making the Arima family first and it seemed suitable to draw them. Except the thunders are almost invisible…

Arima and Eto were with their small children. Eto was just giving birth to her son Shiono, at that time her hair was a little bit longer. The house was currently out of electricity due to the storm, as they carried the crying children, the couple looked at the window worriedly where thunders stroke the dark sky.

Nozomi was 2 years old at that time, thus the reason why she was crying while being held by Arima.

Lovely!!!! Eto is just like “peak writing weather… but kids.” She can’t wait to tell them spooky stories during thunderstorms when they’re older.

Something unexpected happened yesterday that makes me delay Day 09 and 10′s arts-posting! I’ve been mean to post the Day 09 since I like the title, but the unexpected matters and internet problem might make my ‘art journey’ quite difficult…

Day 09“Precious”

I actually thought that I would like TouKen’s relationship just like any other fans/ readers (my little brother like this ship too), or might be AkirAmon, however I never thought that I would love AriEto relationship the most! I took the photo using my camera after placing it on the whiteboard in my classroom (thanks to my printer who’s R.I.P yesterday!).

To @hamliet-san, I made this art based on your story –The (Mis)Adventure of Goat Chapter 23 -”Running”. After some emergency during the labor, Eto gave birth to a healthy, lovely baby girl named Nozomi. Wrapped in blue blanket, with blue hair like her father Arima, but face like her mother Eto, she was Eto and Kishou’s bundle of joy.

I made Eto’s hair shorter like in the manga, and I found it fits her the most. Actually, drawing Arima was like making my first knitting! Many times I have to redo him until I got the current picture of him! Oh dear…I really wish if the manga did this for this couple’s ending, that would be good… XD

OMG Thank you so much!!!! I love it! I’m so happy to see this!

AriEto, kind of reply to the Anon ask about why people like this ship. It’s not canon, but I think Eto might have been open to spicing things up, she makes a few gestures with sexual undertones, some that might be Eto being Eto. The eye-licking, and the Takatsuki event where she pats a fan’s ass during a photo. Arima seems a bit too stoic to go for it, though. They were teenage when they first met, so hormones? (Literally sleeping with the enemy would amuse her. Hormonal Arima, a scary thought.)

LOL yeah. Eto seems to enjoy being naked too so I can see Arima just being like “aren’t you cold?” and Eto’s like “you are thicker than pea soup.”

I’m sorry this is not ship hate or anything but i’m genuinly confused and you are good at this so would you mind explaining why some believe eto x arima is like a legit thing like a canon relationship? They never interacted and it doesn’t look like there are any hints in the manga about them having a relationship so yea i like the ship but i just get really confused?

Don’t worry, I don’t think this is hate! Sooo I don’t know if you are caught up with the :re manga, but chapter 86 makes it clear they did have a relationship–working-wise, at least. They met when they were younger and shared the same goals of making a successor who would kill Arima and become the OEK and therefore they presumably collaborated quite closely with one another.

It’s not impossible to imagine they also had a romantic element to their relationship, but there’s no canonical evidence for it.

They do have the yin/yang dynamic and Arima is very much a parallel for… Kaneki Furuta Amon Mutsuki and Hinami, whereas Eto is a parallel for Touka Rize Akira Urie and Ayato–but they also parallel each other. Basically they fit the mold of typical relationships we know have a romantic component in TG.

That being said, Arieto is not canon as there is no direct canonical implication of them being involved romantically, and their characters are also… idk how much they’d be open to that kind of thing. But it’s a fun headcanon to have!

Dream [headcanon]

Pairing: some Arieto, a bit of Touken

Disclaimer: This might be a bit OOC since I haven’t fully written Arieto out of frameworks before. Figured it is worth the try. This is for @sikaloolala and @kingkishou, hope you guys enjoy. Also this is written out of the blue so forgive me for any errors and such. 🙂

::::

Kishou felt his heart beating slowly, and yet in his sight still was a small glimpse of life. What would have it felt like, he wondered, to have had a normal life with Eto? A normal relationship with Ken?

He could easily imagine them going to the bookstore, browsing for titles and exchanging view about certain books. They could also stay at home, with Eto reading seriously as her head rested in his lap while he drank his coffee and just observed her, smiling as he heard the peaceful sound of rain in the background. He would rest his head on a pillow and just close his eyes.

It would have been nice, to just be.

Kishou would have also had a nice relationship with Ken – with him not having to hide as Haise. He could imagine him giving his father some books to read, with Eto snorting on the background on how lame a certain title was and yet Kishou would read it anyway. He could have had fulfilled his role as a father better, more human, instead of just focusing on grooming him to be the one-eyed king. Eto would have made fun of Ken for being such a wuss towards a girl he liked and he would have chucked on Ken’s embarrassed expression.

His life had been nothing ordinary. Unlike others, he didn’t get to stop to smell the roses before he was bathed of blood. He did not get to see the world as it is before his was dictated upon him. His life was short and meaningless, as he kept taking away.

And yet, it was the small moments that made up his life – the time in the garden when he took Hairu’s hand and her face brightened, the time he met Eto and the moments where he would observe as her brows furrowed in concentration while writing her books, sharing books and sparring with Haise – how could he ever forget those?

He could feel his body slowly wilting away now, as the reaper’s cold embrace spread slowly but surely. His breathing felt erratic, his heart beat, unstable.

And so, he closed his eyes.

“What are you doing here, Kishou? You look stupid standing there.” Eto asked, giving him a wide grin as she took his hand.

He could feel the warmth of the light radiating from where he was, eyes squinting hard. He let Eto guide him inside as he wondered where he was and what he was doing here, heart oddly at peace and beating calmly against his chest.

He saw his son, and the people he loved inside a small room, all smiling at him. There was Fura, Shio, Rikai, Yusa and Take. There were CCG and garden people scattered and grinning, even Ui and Hairu. And then, there was Eto and Ken.

Ken made a move forward, carrying a bundle of blue blankets in his arms while he held his wife’s hand. They looked at each other in silent understanding, as Kishou observed how her gaze towards Ken was warm and accepting. He couldn’t help but feel happy for his son. If this was what the future would be, then he would welcome death proudly.

“I couldn’t possibly let you go without meeting him.” He said, and it was the first time he saw a smile so genuine and heartfelt. With a knowing look, Ken transferred the small bundle towards his father, as the latter carefully accepted it. The child was looking at him curiously as he held out his pudgy little fists up in the air. Kishou felt warmth pooling in his stomach at the sight, much more then the child suddenly grasped his finger and smiled.

‘This is a part of my legacy.’

He smiled. In death’s embrace, he was welcomed home.

Do you mind me sending a NSFW AriEto headcanon? While I wait for an answer, a more general headcanon (still slightly NSFW) ask. Considering that one condition for kakugan showing is when a ghoul is excited, would there be ghouls who show “game face” (a TVtropes reference) in bed? (I think, but can’t remember, that you gave Eto this attribute in one of your fanfics.) I’d like to know your thoughts on this for some fanfics/fanart I might do.

I don’t mind at all!! XD I think Eto would totally do that.

Eto: *kakugan appears* hit me with your best shot, Mr. Shinigami

Arima: …

For some reason my head is full of AriEto ideas right now. Some of them get NSFW but I’ll start with just humor for now. AriEto child goes to school. One day, the literature teacher phones home saying they need to talk. Arima and Eto are worried, only to find out it’s because their child submitted a macabre horror story for a short story assignment. While the teacher blathers about “bad influences” and so on, Arima and Eto are just like “…” (Our child is a fan of Mom’s writing.)

I LOVE THIS YESSSSSSS.
