Im glad that Pixis is in the spotlight again this arc. With Zackly gone I’d really like to see him in a place of leadership and calling shots. I’ve always believed Erwin was the only person who could’ve gotten the SC as far as they did. But for Paradis I feel like Pixis is the type of person they need. He’s wise. Good at reading other people as shown with Yelena and Erwin. Always clear headed and has made good judgements ever since he saved Eren in Trost. And he’s strongly against any sacrifices

Me too. I’ve always liked Pixis. Though, to be honestly, I am terrified he will die soon. 😦

Okay haha. Yes, I am at the point where I feel happy talking about TG again.

1) Chapter 29 of :re. It contains the birth of my OTP and the most beautiful compassion in all of TG in my opinion, badass Hinami, and Juuzou seeing his parent again.

2) Chapter 57 of :re, which is heartbreaking. Karren’s arc is beautiful, peak writing.

3) 120 of TG Touka at her best. She’s flawed here, and obviously so, but her pain and call out of Kaneki are powerful writing. I get chills. This is why I love Touken. This chapter.

4) 113 of :re. Ayato calls out Kaneki and Kurona and Seidou prepare to face off with Amon. Again, I get chills.

5) 159 of :re. I really, really wish this chapter had more impact, because it’s beautiful, and it’s still on this list despite me trying to dismiss it but I can’t. It’s a good chapter. It’s a good realization, it’s relatable as hell, and it’s painful and beautiful and reminds me of why I loved Kaneki and why he saved my life. It just would have been more powerful with more follow up.

Bonus shout outs to 125 and to 176, because Furuta’s losing with the realization that he is human and wanted a family was heartbreaking. But again I kind of have to view those chapters in a bit of a vacuum.

Which are your 5 favourite hxh and snk chapters?

HxH:

1) 318: Final Will. Komugi and Meruem’s death scene. I don’t think anyone can read this without tearing up. It’s beautifully written and I just. It’s wonderful.

2) 336 “Release” aka where Killua apologizes to Alluka. It represented such a powerful moment in Killua’s development. 

3) 113-116 yes I’m grouping them all together to cheat. Chrollo’s kidnapping is just great. It’s funny, poignant, good character insight, and just well done. 114 is probably my favorite of these though. 

4) 294 “Breakdown” wherein Killua has a breakdown and Palm connects with Killua and helps him see he does have worth.

5) 323 “Job Offer.” Hisoka and Illumi discuss Killua and Alluka, and Killua meets with Alluka. Really this chapter is very insightful into how the Zoldyck family works, and drives home how desperately Illumi wants to be loved and how dumb he is about it. The art in this chapter is actually really fantastic, so that helps.

SnK:

1) “Somebody” chapter 48.. Bertolt’s speech is so powerful. 

2) 40: Ymir. Ymir transforms to protect Historia and the flashback where she calls Historia out. 

3) Chapter 66: Wish. Historia’s decision in the cave.

4) 9: “Roar.” I liked seeing all the 104th working together before Marco died and Annie and Mikasa saving Connie and Sasha. 

5) Chapter 85. “The Basement.” The chapter we finally get to the basement and SnK changed forever as a story. AFter 85 chapters it’s hard to make such a reveal satisfying, and Isayama did. 

Things currently in Attack on Titan… Omg the Gabi Falco Sasha family situation for empathy and understanding. Omg the Eren Eldian situation! Omg Zeke, Levi! Armin and Mikasa y’all need to somehow get to your boy Eren. The whole Marley, Eldian, World political warfare in general! Then there’s me like… Look I’m loving all of this stuff that’s happening currently… BUT ISAYAMA CAN WE PLEASE GET ANNIE OUT THE DAMN CRYSTAL😂
